The Closet of Holding is where you can stash extra items and stuff you find on your adventures. There is a Closet of Holding in your Adobe as well in Aya's shoppe.
To access the Closet click on it. Up pops a window showing the contents of the closet. Press I for inventory and you can drag and drop items between your inventory and closet.
